Ice fjords, glaciers and Inuit villages on the west and east coasts

Greenland is the largest island on the planet, and most of it is covered by ice. In summer the sun never sets: glaciers slide into the fjords and icebergs the size of houses drift past Inuit villages.

We sail along two coasts. In the west, Disko Bay with icebergs from the Ilulissat Icefjord, and the Uummannaq fjord. In the east, the wild fjords of Ammassalik, which few people ever reach.
